Valencia CF Mestalla suffered their first home loss of the season to UD Ibiza leaders that were coming into the game as league leaders and were ruthlessly effective in front of goal.
Despite the opposition mettle, VCF Mestalla came out with the shackles off looking to dictate play and managed to unsettle UD Ibiza who struggled to get foothold in the game in the opening minutes of the first half.

Óscar Férnandez introduced two half-time substitutions brining on Carlos Pérez and Emaná who was handed his debut looking to shift the game’s momentum. Valencia CF Mestalla enjoyed two forays with menace one finished off by Hugo González. Alas, Ekain scored the fourth and completed the scoreline for UD Ibiza.
VCF Mestalla tried to get a consolation goal though David Ruiz who rattled the crossbar and the Carlos Gonzalez but the scoreline remained unchanged and VCF Mestalla fell to a heavy home loss to league leaders UD Ibiza.
